At Dunn Development, Inc., we know that the roof of your home can be one of the most important repairs you will ever do, which makes it even more important that you understand the process and trust the company you choose to do your new roof. Some points to consider when you think you might need a new roof:

• All homeowner’s insurance plans cover roof damage from storms and natural disasters. We do free inspections and estimates whether your roof has been damaged or is simply an older roof that needs to be replaced.
• Always have your contractor meet with the insurance adjuster when he comes out to inspect your roof. Your contractor can help you maximize your claim to insure that all damage is properly covered and paid for.
• Lots of people have a claim and don’t even realize it; with so many storms and so much damage done in the past few years, chances are your roof has suffered some damage. Most people, however, are not trained to inspect their own roof, so they don’t know what to look for. We can come give you a free inspection and consultation if you think you may have damage.

When you get your roof done with Dunn Development, Inc., a full tear-off of the existing roof is always included; we will also inspect the decking underneath to be sure that we don’t install your new roof over an existing problem.  Not all companies offer the full tear-off. We also always offer ice and water shields in all valleys at no additional cost to you. This is not normally included in insurance coverage but the shields help to eliminate the possibility for leaks in the valleys, and we feel this extra mile is important to our customers.
