Northumberland

This elegant and stunning remodel updated an older, dated kitchen to create a versatile entertaining and living space for the homeowners. The old kitchen was closed off and separated from the family room by an awkward and narrow archway. The kitchen now opens to the family room through an expanded archway that incorporates the original columns. The upgraded kitchen boasts custom white cabinets with gold hardware; a knockout La Cornue Range and custom range hood; Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer; a killer island with a prep sink, microwave drawer, baking station for the stand mixer, and pull-out trash drawers; a charming breakfast nook with a new bar cabinet; a built-in butler's pantry where an old closet was. The remodel allowed the owners to enclose the formal dining room and separate it from the kitchen, while adding enough space to add an informal dining table between the family room and kitchen. An old built-in cabinet in the family room was re-installed in the kids' playroom for games and toy storage.

Green Hills laundry cabinets and mud room cubby

For this project we moved a door in the living room to create a new entry into the hall leading to the laundry room. In the laundry itself, we built new custom cabinets for the wine refrigerator, storage for supplies and cds, and hung a new drying rack. In the entryway of the same home we created a custom storage nook for shoes, bags, and hats, all constructed around an existing table that belonged to the owner.

East Nashville Foursquare family room addition

In this classic East Nashville Foursquare, we built a family room addition open to the kitchen. The kitchen was updated and remodeled with new counter tops and appliances, and a new wallpaper mural added to the dining room announces the new space. French doors in the addition lead to the new home office space.

Glasgow Master Bath

Betsy's Farmhouse

The homeowners wanted to remodel this old farmhouse, adding a master bedroom suite and an office, new kitchen cabinets, and refinishing trim and molding throughout. Spacious front and back porches invite you to sit and sip tea; an elegant and classy country look dominates the interior. This little farmhouse is a true hidden gem of the south!

Forest Hills Modern Kitchen

This kitchen features a "Versailles" Travertine tile floor, custom Italian door and drawer pulls from Ferguson, Dacor range and Farber Range hood, Thermador Freedom Tower refrigerator and freezer, Danz faucet, "Blue Pearl" granite, and custom cabinets and mill work by Dunn Development, Inc.

East Nashville Custom Closet and Bath

This East Nashville home used to have three doorways off the right side of the main hallway: two rooms and a bathroom in the middle. We closed off the doors to the back room and the bath and created a bedroom out of the front room with access to the bathroom and a new walk-in closet in the back room. The bathroom now boasts an exquisite tiled shower, and the walk-in closet holds all the homeowner’s clothing and shoes in custom-built cabinetry.

A Room With a View

We updated this beautiful Craftsman home with new interior and exterior paint, new carpet and flooring, as well as adding on living room and master suite additions. The two-story addition also adds a new deck upstairs with stunning views of downtown skylines.

Downstairs, we updated the kitchen counter tops and back splash, the sink, and the faucet. The kitchen opens up into the new living room addition that features a three-panel Nanawall door that opens completely onto the back courtyard area. Open or closed, the Nanawall door truly invites the outdoors in!

Upstairs the new master suite bath room sees a new threshold-free shower, a custom vanity and new floors. The suite boasts a coffee bar for early mornings, as well as a walk-in closet with all new custom cabinets and shelves for clothing and shoes. The French doors open onto the new deck where the homeowners can relax after work and watch the sun set over the downtown skyline.
